With the introduction of the UP 4000, AAEON combines classic design with modern technology. As the successor to the trailblazing UP Board, the UP 4000 retains the same form factor while offering users upgrades in processing power, I/O density, and expansion options.
Improvements and Performance
A standout feature of the UP 4000 is the 30% increase in CPU speeds. Powered by the Intel® Pentium® N4200, Celeron® N3350, and Atom™ E3950 SoC (formerly Apollo Lake), users can expect faster performance. Additionally, the 2x improvement in 3D graphics performance, courtesy of the Intel Gen 9 HD graphics package, enhances overall visuals. As a result of these upgrades, the UP 4000 offers up to 1.7 times better single-thread performance compared to the previous generation, along with 1.5 times better graphics burst performance..

Despite its significant advancements in maker board technology, the UP 4000 continues the original UP Board ethos of offering fantastic value for money. Even with its affordable price, the UP 4000 includes several new features:
