The ATX-Q870A: Where Versatility Meets Performance

The new ATX-Q870A demonstrates AAEON’s commitment to innovation. Our first industrial motherboard to host Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 2 Processors (formerly Arrow Lake-S), the ATX-Q870A combines robust next-gen computing performance with unprecedented improvements in system memory, I/O selection, and expansion options. Supporting up to 256GB dual-channel DDR5 alongside two PCIe Gen 5 x16 slots and triple 2.5GbE LAN, the ATX-Q870A is the ultimate foundation for compute-intensive applications such as industrial automation systems, high-performance workstations, and IoT gateways.

Support for up to 8 PCIe Devices

The ATX-Q870A boasts two PCIe Gen 5 and five PCIe Gen 4 slots, making it capable of simultaneously supporting high-spec GPUs and AI accelerators, NVMe storage, and task-specific modules like serial cards, sensor interfaces, and low-speed NICs. Moreover, four M.2 Key slots open the door to 4G/5G, Wi-Fi 6, and high-speed NVMe storage, making the >ATX-Q870A a universal foundation for high-performance solution building.

Intel Core Ultra Processors Series 2 CPUs

Capable of hosting up to 125W LGA 1851 socket-type CPUs from the new Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors Series 2 platform, the >ATX-Q870A can leverage up to 24 cores and 24 threads of processing power, making it ideal for handling data intensive embedded workloads. Meanwhile, the platform’s built-in Intel® AI Boost NPU and Intel® Graphics GPU grant up to 36 TOPS of AI performance for hardware-accelerated inferencing tasks.

Next-Gen I/O for Unmatched Speed and Flexibility

With nine USB 3.2 interfaces, three 2.5GbE LAN ports, and six COM connectors, the ATX-Q870A is versatile and able to support a wide array of peripheral devices, as well as reliable, redundant networking. Extending its market potential, the board also offers dual HDMI 2.1 ports alongside one DP 1.4a, all running at 4K @60Hz, making it suitable for digital signage. Moreover, a VGA port grants backward compatibility for legacy HMIs and industrial monitors.
